I’m Simone Cargiaghe, a wedding photographer and filmmaker based near Milan. I create photographs and films with one coherent vision, bringing an intimate, documentary approach to weddings across Italy.

The ceremony, the embraces afterwards, the time spent around a table. I photograph the relationships between people and the place they have chosen; film brings movement, voices and the pace of those moments. Light and setting shape the images without taking the place of the people in them.
I’m the founder, creative director and principal photographer and filmmaker behind the work. I consider photographs and film together, with a documentary approach and gentle direction when it helps. Your wedding stays a day to experience, rather than a production to perform.

From my base between Pavia and Milan, we plan the coverage for your destination in Italy. You do not need every detail finalised: your date, location and priorities are a good starting point.

We look at the schedule alongside what you would like in your photographs and film, with the relevant contacts at your venue and planning team.

We agree on the photography and filmmaking needs, the team presence and the travel details in your individual proposal.

Both photography and film.
With Metodo Unico®, two independent professionals can each create photographs and footage. Rather than a fixed photographer and videographer split, two viewpoints contribute to the same moments where possible, with a coherent creative direction and a leaner team.
I lead the creative direction. Jessica, an independent photographer and hybrid operator, alternates photography and filming throughout the day.

Do you photograph weddings throughout Italy?
Yes. I’m based between Pavia and Milan and am available for weddings across Italy. We start with your location and date to discuss availability, coverage and travel.
How do we plan photography and films from abroad?
Send me your date, venue or the area you are considering, along with your priorities. Before the wedding we discuss the key moments, schedule and photography and film coverage. You can enquire while some details are still taking shape.
Can you cover multiple locations during our wedding?
We look at your schedule and travel time between getting ready, the ceremony and the reception. Those details help us agree on the team presence and coverage that fit your day.
Do you work with our wedding planner and venue?
We discuss the schedule and what the photography and film need: timing, access, light and movement between locations. Working with your chosen professionals helps the coverage fit naturally into the day.
Are travel expenses included in the proposal?
Travel arrangements depend on the location and the coverage you need. Your wedding proposal will clarify the expected travel expenses and what is included before you confirm the service.
